The chart below regarding how much Star Wars made and was worth, I made based off a chart on https://geektyrant.com/news/2012/6/3/star-wars-has-made-how-much-money-infographic.html however I can no longer get the infographic to load, and it’s been excluded from the web archive. But I do see the link to the original infographic still in the code. You can also see it by switching into page view on desktop or even reader mode in your browser. Now why would they want to hide how much Star Wars was earning when it changed hands? I have theories.
That infographic shows:
15B in toy sales.
4.7B in video games.
4.5B in box office.
4.3B in DVD
2B in books
1.3B in other
1.2B in rentals
I just updated my version of the graphic to show in the chart that the EU was directly in the book sales, DVD (Ewoks, Droids & Ewoks animated, Clone Wars Mini Series), Video games and toys.
Some of these other images are to show how the continuity worked, how the books and comics tie into books and what the EU did first.
