Desperate for parts they let Anakin pod race for them. Qui-Gon wins the parts and Anakin’s freedom. Darth Maul attacks, revealing to the Jedi that the Sith have returned.

Amidala & Anakin

Amidala petitions the Senate for aid. Anakin is tested by the Council for Jedi Training. Both are refused. Amidala calls for a No Confidence vote on Valorum. Palpatine is among those nominated to replace him.

Allies

Amidala allies with the Gungans. She captures the leader as the Gungans distract the droid army. Kenobi kills the Sith but Qui-Gon is also killed. Anakin ends up in a starfighter & destroys the Droid Control ship.

Obi-Wan knighted, Anakin accepted for training

Obi-Wan is granted permission to take Anakin as his apprentice.

Leaves the Jedi, trains as Sith

Jedi Master Sifo Dyas commissions a clone army for the Republic in secret and is murdered by Dooku.

Aggressive Negotiations

Anakin starts to have bad dreams about his Mother. There is increasing talk of Secession that could split the Old Republic apart and the mission to Ansion is to persuade them to stay in the Republic.

Someone tries to assassinate now Senator Amidala

Obi-Wan and Anakin are assigned as body guards. They succeed, but the assassin is killed by a bounty hunter before she can be questioned.

Jango Fett flees arrest

They fall in love, but Padme refuses to act on it. Anakin’s nightmares reveal his Mother is in danger. They go to Tatooine to investigate.

Shmi killed, Kenobi captured

Anakin slaughters the Sandpeople who killed his Mother. He & Padme then race to rescue Obi-Wan who has discovered the droid army & the Separatist plans for war. They fail, are sentenced to execution. Padme declares her love for Anakin. The Jedi rush to the rescue.

Jedi Fall

Yoda brings the clones to rescue the Jedi. But Dooku and the Separatist leaders escape. Anakin escorts Padme Amidala home, they marry in secret.
