Cade Skywalker of the famous lineage of Skywalker’s, presumably a descendant of Ben Skywalker, his life has been very rough. There are those who thought the reckless youth would’ve been released from Jedi training if he was anyone else. But the violent rise of the One Sith that led to an attack on Ossus separated him from the Jedi and led to his near destruction as a pirate, and bounty hunter, even to turning in other Jedi. His legacy won’t leave him alone, however.
Cade’s brashness may have got him in trouble as did his loyalty. But he was smart. His father Kol was killed in the attack even as he was ordered to go and protect the younglings with his master. Cade abandoned that ship however to fly a fighter, and was knocked unconscious. Pirates picked him up and accepted him as one of their own, but in keeping his true identity secret the young man had to pick over and scavenge the remains of his home and his father.
Years later, hooked on death sticks and hiding his abilities, he turned in a Jedi for the bounty. This triggered guilt, and finally his life was forced back onto the path of the Jedi. But the Sith know of his abilities too, and Darth Krayt has reasons to want control of them.
Cade had a skill his many times great Grandfather had literally killed for and failed to get: the ability to stop people from dying, though his skills slid toward the dark side rather than staying true to the light in the fashion of a Jedi healer. It was this skill that the One Sith led by Darth Krayt, were hunting him for.
Cade Skywalker Relatives and Friends
His father was Kol Skywalker and his Uncle Nat (Bantha) who had retired to raise a family, all of those children were adopted. Cade has Ahnah, Micah and Skeeto Rawk as ‘step cousins’.
His closest friend was Jariah Syn though this relationship was rocked at the discovery Cade was a Jedi, as Syn’s father had been killed by one. As a boy, he had a crush on Azlyn Rae. As an adult, he was known to be close to the Zeltron Deliah Blue. His Jedi Master was Wolf Sazen.
