ERA: Rebellion – NJO
Reddish brown hair, a grin with a cocky swagger and ego, Dash Rendar is of a similar mold as Han Solo. He’s a smuggler, with a fast ship and defiant attitude. He comes of a rich Corellian family.
Dash lost everything when his family due to Black Sun. Black Sun had tried to buy his family’s business, and they refused. His brother’s ship was sabotaged so it crashed into the Emperor’s museum. Dash Rendar was at the Imperial Academy. In a fit of rage, the Emperor had him kicked out, his parents exiled, and his brother was assumed dead.
Dash Rendar took to smuggling, with the occasional mercenary or piloting job thrown in. He also wasn’t averse to being a ship thief. He wasn’t interested in joining the Rebellion, despite his hate for the Empire. Furthermore, he did run supplies for them and was at Hoth, even flying a snowspeeder in battle. He was also not fond of Black Sun and Prince Xixor for what I’m sure are obvious reasons!
Dash Rendar’s Ship:
The Outrider is a top-of-the line YT-2400 model and very fast. It also has an alias.
Dash also owned a ship called the Outrunner.

Dash’s ship, the Outrider, was added to the Star Wars Special Edition (A New Hope) taking off from Mos Eisley.
MERCH:
Shadows of the Empire was a multimedia event, everything but the movie. So Dash has been on Trading Cards, Micromachines and an action figure of the period. He has recently been given a 6″ figure as well.
